Giveaway From The Captain’s Treasure Chest

Posted on December 5, 2013December 5, 2013 by captaincreed

Missed out on the major shopping days? We might have something for you.
We like to have fun. And our hope is that you like to have fun as well. As I have mentioned before, my daughter is a bit of an artist, which is why you can never find paper or a marker around here because she uses them all!
In order to foster this creativity, we like to play with toys that allow her to express herself without the threat of our house being fully graffitied.
Enter Blingles. This is a cool kit that allows children to “bling out” their accessories. The set allows the child designer to construct up to ten designs. Whether it is stationary, cell phones, MP3 players, etc. – if it has a smooth surface it can be blinged out. For this particular project, Captain had to hide his cell phone:), but fortunately there are plenty of other safe surfaces in the house that The Eldest can get her bling on. The kit retails at $19.99 and is geared for children 6 & up!

We also like fast cars here. The Micro Chargers Double Loop Track . The cars are small but the action is fast. There are two types of cars that you can purchase – the race car and the stunt car. We have the race car. Sometimes there is nothing more fascinating than watching a car take a sharp loop or turn at a high speed. The cool thing is that the track and car are small so they do not take up a lot of space. Very small parts are involved in this set, so it is recommended for children ages 6 & up and retails at $19.99

The Eldest is also a big My Little Pony fan. Whether it is adventures with princesses or tea parties, my daughter loves to include her My Little Pony friends. Her newest addition, Rarity, has been a hit. image Rarity, the “Equestrian Girl”, even comes with some fun accessories – sunglasses and, of course, a brush. Rarity gets the occasional makeover in our house – that’s just how we roll here. She is rated ages 5 & up, and retails at $12.99.
So here is the fun part- in case you missed out on Black Friday and Cyber Monday…we have Poop Deck Community Thursday. What? You haven’t heard of it? We are totally making it a thing. Today.
Today I am going to giveaway two items – a Blingles Bling Studio and a Gelarti Designer Studio (I featured this item in this Life of Dad post). How do you win? Simple. Visit my Facebook page, “Like” it, and leave a comment on the “giveaway post”. Two winners (one for each prize) will be randomly chosen. Contest closes at midnight EST, tonight.

Well, for now, Captain out.
P.S. I did receive these items to review, but have not been compensated for my review. My opinions are my own.
